Our Story.
Step back in time to 1948, the year that marked Sri Lanka's independence from British colonial rule. Amidst the celebrations and newfound freedom, a young teenager embarked on a journey that would revolutionize trade in his country. He became one of Sri Lanka's first customs clearing agents, ushering in an era of efficient and transparent import-export procedures that would benefit businesses and consumers alike. Fast forward to today, over seven decades later, and we're taking a look at this incredible journey – the challenges faced by our visionary pioneer and how his legacy continues to shape international commerce in Sri Lanka. That pioneering figure was Mr. A. H. A. Azeez.

He has passed on this experience to his two grandsons, Imran Isfahan and Ifraz Isfahan, who serve as the company's Managing Director and Director, respectively.

Mr. Azeez's contributions to the Sri Lanka Customs Clearing Industry have been widely recognized and celebrated by various news outlets and organizations. With over 75 years of dedicated service, his expertise and knowledge in the field have been invaluable. Notably, his legacy has been featured in prominent newspapers and magazines, such as the Sunday Observer, where a journalist conducted an interview and published a full article on his achievements. Additionally, during the 200-year anniversary of Sri Lanka customs, Mr. Azeez was honored with a 10-page article in the souvenir book, which was gifted by the then President Honorable Mahinda Rajapaksa.

In addition to Mr. Azeez's contributions, his grandson, Mr. Imran, has been actively pursuing opportunities to expand Master Freight's customs clearing services. Mr. Imran has traveled extensively and obtained a diverse range of certifications and training programs, which have equipped him with valuable knowledge and skills to better serve our clients.

We have a global presence with offices in strategic locations worldwide. This enables us to effectively serve our international clientele.
Our headquarters is located in Fort, Sri Lanka. From this office, we manage our overall operations. In addition to our Sri Lankan base, we have two offices in China. One facility is in Guangzhou and the other is in Yiwu. These allow us to cater efficiently to our clients in Southern and Eastern China. In the Middle East, we operate an office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Our company boasts expansive warehouse facilities, with each location in the aforementioned countries spanning over 50,000 square feet. These warehouses are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and infrastructure to ensure efficient and secure storage of our clients' goods. We take pride in our ability to provide ample storage space and top-notch facilities to accommodate our clients' diverse needs.
